ROBIN WARNES
Born Ipswich 1952, studied at Ipswich School
of Art, Canterbury College of Art and the Royal
Academy Schools. Associate Lecturer in Painting
at University College Suffolk
Statement – In my painting I work on the
boundaries of objective and subjective. I explore
simple geometry to evoke responses to objects,
things and places, I use contrasts of tone and
colour to create balance and illusion which
is either perceived, realised or felt.
